A lot of my writings on this blog will be quick transcripts of varied scribbled-down thoughts I have had whilst travelling and working in my research areas.
Please do not take them too seriously, as sometimes they are just the musings of a simple middle-aged man.
I have always had thoughts about the brain, since late childhood (even sometimes before I could articulate what they actually meant) — consciousness and other questions like:
- “What is it to be human?”
- “Are we truly separate from the world we live in?”
- “Can a computer become conscious?”
- “Is quantum computing the door to full understanding of our universe?”
As a side note, I was diagnosed with mild Synesthesia as a young adult, and this phenomenon led me to eventually study deeply the brain, consciousness, and how a person’s sensory and mental perceptions shape their thoughts and feelings.
I have always had an interest in logic, intelligence, intuition and puzzles, and how these traits display differently across lots of varied people. Just because you are part of common man does not mean your abilities are common.
I even attempted the Cicada 3301 puzzles back in 2012, just for the fun of it.
